Auburn’s football coaching staff continues to make strides in recruiting, securing another win with the confirmation that the nation’s No. 2 safety has scheduled an official visit
Four-star safety Bralan Womack, a standout from Flowood, Mississippi, is ranked as the No. 24 overall player and the second-best safety in the 2026 recruiting class. He also holds the No. 2 spot among Mississippi recruits.
Womack has lined up official visits to his top four schools, including a trip to Auburn on the weekend of June 13. His other visits include Florida on May 30, Texas A&M on June 6, and Ohio State on June 20.
Tigers pushing to flip Tennessee DL commit
Auburn’s coaching staff is also focused on securing a more challenging prospect. Four-star defensive lineman Tyson Bacon has been committed to Tennessee since October 2024, but the Tigers remain persistent in their efforts to recruit him.
Hailing from Hoover, Alabama, Tyson Bacon is ranked as the No. 35 defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 13 overall prospect in his state. His recruitment has gained momentum recently, with nearly 15 new offers coming in over the past month.
Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze and defensive line coach Vontrell King-Williams recently visited Bacon at his high school.
“It was great,” Bacon told Auburn Rivals. “Coach Freeze is a really funny guy—he makes you feel comfortable. Coach Vontrell has an impressive resume, too. I train with Jayson Jones, and he’s developed Freshman All-Americans and All-SEC players. He’s done a great job.”
