Meanwhile, Georgia is bringing in high-profile coaching figures for an upcoming event. The program announced Thursday that Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen and former NFL coach Rex Ryan will headline a coaching clinic in Athens, Georgia, from March 20-22. This annual event serves as both a way for Georgia to give back to the coaching community and an opportunity for Smart’s staff to strengthen relationships with high school coaches—an important factor in college football recruiting.

Georgia Athletics announced that head coach Kirby Smart and his staff will host the 2025 UGA Coaches Clinic from March 20-22. The event is designed as an in-depth clinic featuring presentations from both college and NFL coaches. According to the announcement, the annual clinic provides a platform to network, discuss football strategies, exchange ideas, and learn from experienced coaches.

Additionally, the entire UGA coaching staff—along with directors of strength & conditioning, recruiting, operations, sports medicine, and player development—will be available to interact and answer questions about the Georgia football program.
