Former Georgia offensive lineman Xavier Truss took a playful jab at the Florida Gators.
With several former Bulldogs preparing for the NFL, Truss is among those making the transition. Following the conclusion of the NFL Combine, Georgia’s pro day and the draft are fast approaching. Despite his busy schedule, Truss found time to tease a long-time rival.
He shared an Instagram story featuring a photo of himself at the University of Florida, posing in front of a statue of Gators legend Tim Tebow. However, he made sure to hold a miniature Georgia football helmet, a subtle reminder that he still proudly represents the Bulldogs—even in enemy territory.
Truss spent six seasons at Georgia, losing to Florida just once in 2020. He was a starting offensive lineman for his final three years with the team.
At the combine, Truss measured 6-foot-7 and 309 pounds. He recorded a 5.24-second 40-yard dash, an 8’7″ broad jump, and a 26-inch vertical. His versatility—having played both guard and tackle—makes him a valuable prospect, as NFL teams are always seeking experienced offensive linemen.
