Originally a sixth-round pick by the New York Giants in 2019, Ballentine has also been part of the New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals, and Green Bay Packers organizations. For the past three seasons, he has called the historic Lambeau Field home.
Last year, Ballentine played in 15 games for the Packers, making one start. He recorded six tackles and a forced fumble while contributing on special teams, where he saw action on 51% of the team’s total snaps.
Reports suggest he is looking to compete for the Colts’ kick returner role next season.
Beyond his return abilities, Ballentine adds value as a special teams gunner and provides depth at cornerback, bolstering competition across multiple positions for Indianapolis.
