BREAKING NEWS: Chiefs Receives Massive News Involving Top Star That Left Buzzing.

The Kansas City Chiefs have brought back former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver on a one-year contract. This marks his third season with the team, during which he has contributed to multiple playoff runs and secured a Super Bowl victory.

Serving as the team’s WR4 this season, Smith-Schuster was pushed up the depth chart due to ongoing injuries in the receiving corps. However, he also missed several games himself due to a hamstring issue, finishing with just 18 catches for 231 yards and two touchdowns.

Before joining the New England Patriots, Smith-Schuster had signed a one-year, incentive-based contract with Kansas City, which helped him earn a lucrative free-agent deal while also winning a Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, his time in New England was hampered by a knee injury and other setbacks, preventing him from making a significant impact. Now back with the Chiefs, he has taken on a power slot role, serving as a key blocker for a team that emphasizes a strong rushing attack.

During the offseason, concerns arose regarding Smith-Schuster’s knee health, and in 2023, he also dealt with lower-body injuries, including an ankle issue. Originally a second-round pick by the Steelers in the 2017 NFL Draft out of USC, Smith-Schuster had his breakout season in 2018, surpassing 1,400 receiving yards while thriving alongside Antonio Brown.
