Guidry has yet to make an appearance this season, and Johnson expects him to return next week after the Tigers complete their four-game road trip in the Dallas area.

‘It’s a non-throwing, non-arm-related issue that just came up,’ Johnson explained. ‘He was ready to pitch last Wednesday but woke up Thursday not feeling great. We think we’ve pinpointed the issue and expect him back next week.’
LSU was originally scheduled to play Nicholls State on Wednesday, but the game was postponed to April 8. Instead, the Tigers hosted the Colonels on Monday and secured a 13-3 victory in seven innings.
The road trip kicks off Wednesday against Dallas Baptist at Globe Life Field in Arlington, with first pitch set for 7 p.m. LSU will then compete in the Frisco College Baseball Classic over the weekend, facing Kansas State, Nebraska, and Sam Houston.”
