Four-star offensive lineman Zyon Guiles from Carvers Bay High School in Hemingway, South Carolina, has moved up his commitment timeline and will now reveal his college choice on March 21, 2025. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound prospect is ranked as the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class by On3.
Guiles’ final list of schools includes Clemson, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida State, and Georgia. Initially, he had planned to take multiple official visits over the summer but has decided to accelerate his commitment process.

His high school coach, Matthew Richard, has witnessed Guiles’ rapid development firsthand, stating, “The recruiting process for Zyon from this point last year until now is night and day. Last year, he was still little known. He took that as motivation. He hit the weight room; he dedicated himself to his craft even more. He’s still the same hungry kid, still wants to prove himself.”
Guiles’ recruitment gained traction last summer when both South Carolina and Clemson extended offers on the same day. He has since visited South Carolina frequently and built a strong connection with head coach Shane Beamer and his staff.
Reflecting on his visits, Guiles shared, “It’s not too far from where I live, so that’s one big plus for me. I like Shane Beamer. He has a side of humor; not a lot of coaches have that outside of football. You can joke around with him, with (Lonnie) Teasley, joke around with the staff—it’s just, it’s really fun. They’re family over there for sure.”
With his commitment announcement approaching, the finalist programs eagerly await his decision, which could have a significant impact on their 2026 recruiting classes.
